Aged 73 years, he is a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 38 years of teaching and research experience in his capacity as a Professor/Principal of Engineering Colleges. He has also served as an Executive Secretary in the Indian Society of Technical Education from the year 1988-1997.
